Since 1917, Lions have served the world’s population through hard work and commitment to make a difference in the lives of people everywhere. With over 1.3 million members serving in over 45,000 clubs in over 200 countries and geographical areas, Lions Clubs International is the world’s largest service club organization.

We believe all people can embrace who they are,can define their future, and can change the world.

District 4-C1 is comprised of Lions, Lioness and Leo clubs from north of Sacramento in Magalia through Chico and up to the Oregon border. Lions members of Northern California Lions Clubs meet the needs of communities throughout the North State

Lions Clubs Objects

  • To Create and foster a spirit of understanding among the peoples of the world.

  • To Promote the principles of good government and good citizenship.

  • To Take an active interest in the civic, cultural, social and moral welfare of the community.

  • To Unite the clubs in the bonds of friendship, good fellowship and mutual understanding.

  • To Provide a forum for the open discussion of all matters of public interest; provided, however, that partisan politics and sectarian religion shall not be debated by club members.

  • To Encourage service-minded people to serve their community without personal financial reward, and to encourage efficiency and promote high ethical standards in commerce, industry, professions, public works and private endeavors.
